Thomas Howard Foundation | Support Our Mission

The Thomas Howard Foundation (THF) was established in 2009 with a mission to provide children and young adults the proper tools to reach their academic and athletic excellence.  Annual programs include the Walk On Award and Summer Football Camps.

Each April, THF teams up with the University of Texas, El Paso for the annual Walk On Award.  Each year students who were UTEP walk-on athletes, meeting the required GPA and standard of excellence are asked to submit their application and essay.  Two students are then selected and awarded for their Academic & Athletic achievement, and they’re acknowledged at the annual Dinner for the Miners banquet.

Each Summer THF conducts an annual youth football camp for elementary ages, middle, and high school students. For unskilled and advanced talent-levels. Each year the youth football camp takes place in July in Lubbock, TX.
